Friday, Tuan had his next day eye check up and all looks great! Now, if I can just get him to keep his eyes closed. After we ran some errands and then came home to take care of some last minute holiday prep, we traveled to Mom and Dad's House to have Christmas with Deacon, Lanie and Patrick. It was great fun and everyone was so generous, especially with gifts for Turner. Deacon was a hoot!
Saturday, we had the Turner family Christmas at Aunt Judy's house! It was so nice to see everyone again, and they were kind enough to throw a baby shower for us! Everyone was, again, very generous and Turner got some great new things! She is a lucky girl!
Saturday evening, we picked up Tuan's parents and drove to Marietta to spend the night with Tuan's cousin, Nhu, and his family! They are such a great family, beautiful, smart, kind and we had a great time! Amy and Lauren gave us a piano recital and Phuong and Nhu fixed us two great meals!
Sunday, we traveled to Alpharetta to Tuan's other cousin, Xu's, house! Then the craziness really began, there had to be about 40 people there and holiday festivities with Tuan's family are always high energy! It was a lot of fun! Monday, about 15 of us, mostly kids, went to the Christmas Eve Service and that was very nice. Before that, they had thrown a baby shower for us, and again, everyone was so generous to Turner, we have so many thank you notes to write! After church, we opened presents and the kids had a blast!
Monday, we traveled back to mom and dad's to load up our Christmas and Shower presents from before, and then went to Misty's for the Hileman Christmas. I hadn't seen Misty's house before. It is great! Looks like a vacation rental in the Smokies. I think everyone was able to come to the festivities which is nice and not very common! We got back home last night around 10pm, and were exhausted.
