Students vote down football resolution - News
I know many people (including my handsome husband) are very upset by the outcome of this vote, but I am for one am just glad it is all over.
In the years since football, we rarely if ever, have heard students complaining about not having a football team, so I am a little confused why the alumni and community are surprised by the outcome. The students didn't start this issue, the alumni and community did, so that is where the money should come from.
I am not against having a football team, I think it would be great to have it back...and the marching band, but again, if our students don't want it bad enough to pay for it, I don't think it is a good idea.
